I was the winning artist in the Art Prahran competition, and my artwork will take over the eastern facade of brand new apartments designed by Rothe Lowman and Crema Group! Alrighty, please excuse the shameless self-promotion! As part of MAD – the Melbourne Art and Design Fair,  5 local emerging artists (I am one of them!!) have been commissioned to bring life and art together and will vie for position to leave their impression on the urban soul of Prahran! There’ll be  live DJ, street art performers, and Nova FM will be broadcasting there at midday!

I’m a bit late with this blog post, but nevertheless – the Art Prahran competition was launched Saturday November 6th at 118 High Street, Prahran as part of the MAD (Melbourne Art & Design Fair) Pop-Up Market. Check out the Pop Up Markets this Saturday the 5th November! It’s at 118 High street, Prahran as part of MAD, Melbourne Art and Design Fair! Arward-winning architect Rothe Lowman and developers Crema Group have combed art and architecture, creating gorgeous brand-new (and very cool!) apartments in High St, Prahran. 4 young artists and I have been commissioned to create a site-specific work of art to dominate the development’s easter facade. All artwork will be on display on 5th of November.  The winning artist will be commissioned to create the final building artwork once construction is complete!
