About Cat

Cat MacInnes is a Melbourne-based illustrator whose award-winning images are used by various advertising and publishing clients in Australia and abroad. With an artist father and ceramicist mother, Cat was always into art. She studied design and fine art in Melbourne and South Korea. Her work is characteristically whimsical, bright and conceptual, with use of bright colours and often a focus on nature.

Her work has spanned editorial, publishing, advertising, and murals for over two decades. 

Cat's clients include: ACMI, Australia Post, Gardening Australia, Country Fire Authority (CFA), Kleenex, Melbourne Museum, Moonpig, Nelly Thomas, Penguin Random House, SEEK, Tanya Hennessy, Triple R and World Vision Australia.
